ICANN board member slams DHS

In the wake of persistent rumors that the Department of Homeland Security will try to get access to DNSSEC security keys, an ICANN board member is criticizing DHS for being unprepared to deal with future attacks on the DNS.

A new study suggests that social networking sites are giving their members a false sense of security that could expose them to phishing attacks.

The Wall Street Journal (subscription required) reports on Google's deal with Clear Channel to sell local radio ads, part of the company's continuing evolution from search engine to online and offline ad broker.
